The Slideshow feature makes it really easy
to view large numbers of photos, selecting the
ones you may want to purchase, quickly and easily.
You can increase the speed of the Slideshow...look bottom left when in Slideshow to change the speed to a faster setting as well as to increase the photo size.
See the "Preview Larger"** section at the very bottom for more information about how to view, select and preview photos before buying.
The thumbnails shown of some enlarged or custom photos (text added) will not show the entire print; however, when you are in the ordering process, but before you pay, use "Preview Larger"** and the correct crop size and you will see the entire print edge to edge before you buy.
Some things (typically not the primary subject) in the photos will be out of focus, especially if shot in the evening or inside. This small depth of field style of shooting often helps separate the subject from a busy background.
All photos are printed by a professional lab off site and they will process the print or merchandise beautifully... but just as it is ordered.
For example, they will not make sure everything is in focus, center an image or make sure all the text is included. If changes need to be made to a photo such as cropped to a specific size, I need to do it and post the updated photo on this site before you can order it. You can preview** any image at a larger size and with the specified crop during the ordering process (but before paying) to make sure everything is the way you want it, and if it isn't, simply remove it from the order at that time. Its really easy. Please be sure to email me if you would like a photo changed or cropped to a specific size before ordering and I will be glad to help.
CREATIVE OR CUSTOM PROJECTS
Please see the "Samples From Past Shoots" section to the top/left to get some ideas on what is possible or just tell me what you want. Please call or email me if you have a question or just want to discuss what you have in mind. Pricing is always very competitive and less than what a studio would charge.
MORE ABOUT SIZING AND CROPPING CUSTOM ORDERS,
DESIGNS WITH TEXT AND POSTERS.
Custom creations and photos with text added are almost always designed to be printed at a specific size or you will likely loose something along the edges. The description will often give the size that they can ideally be printed at in order to not effect the edges, text, or the design. Look for the "X" in the description. For example a photo designed to be printed as an 8" x 10" print will have 8x10 in the description. Email me if you need a different size made or aren't sure. If in the Preview** the edges aren't as they should be, or text is cut off, check the photo's description and crop to the correct size before placing the order. 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 can typically be interchanged and printed at any of these three sizes. Or... simply start the order process by ordering the print in all the sizes, keeping only the one that is cropped correctly when you use the Preview Larger** feature, and deleting the rest from the order before paying. Once you are doing it you will see what I mean.
** HOW TO VIEW, SELECT AND USE "PREVIEW LARGER" BEFORE BUYING.
This is how I suggest you view the photos, especially if part of a large album like from a football game, and select the ones you want to order. After getting to the album of photos you want to view, select the Slideshow feature (upper right, pink arrow) and it will start to show the photos one at a time. This will allow you to see all the photos automatically. Use the speed control and photo size adjustment, lower left, to make the photos larger or smaller, shown faster or slower. If you want more control, click on the Slideshow control for "Next" and you can manually go through the photos quickly by continuing to press "Next" each time to change to the next photo. Thats the way I prefer to do it. When you see a photo you like, check on the Order Item button which is lower right. You aren't actually buying the photo yet, just adding it to the list of ones you might buy. If you miss one you can go through the photos again or use the other controls to go forward or backward through the photos as needed. Once you have seen all the photos and added all the photos you are interested in, press the orange "Order Now" and you will move to a page where you can see the photos selected, what it costs, select finish, remove photos, see available discounts and select quantity for each photo. You can also go back and add more photos or choose "Next" to preview the photos the way they will actually be cropped. Choose next and then read everything on this page. Select "Preview Larger" if you want to see exactly how each photo will be cropped or printed. Once you select Preview Larger you will have the opportunity to look at each photo exactly as it will print, one at a time. If it doesn't look the way you want or something is cut off, like heads or text or part of a custom design, then you have selected the wrong size for the photo and should remove this photo and go back and order the correct size. Or... simply start the order process by ordering the print in all the sizes, keeping only the one that is cropped correctly when you use the Preview Larger feature, and deleting the rest from the order before paying. As stated before, custom photos or posters should have the best crop size in the name somewhere, like 8x10 or 20x30. If ordering a bunch of smaller prints like 4x6's, without text or custom designs, this step is not as important since the crop won't likely effect them and you want to keep them as 4x6s. For larger, more expensive prints, or custom designs or posters, especially ones with text, do not skip looking at them using Preview Larger to make sure text or other parts of the photo aren't cut off. You can also change the quantity here or go back to make changes. Once you have your order the way you want it then you will hit Next and go through the information regarding shipping and paying. Its all really very simple once you do it one time. Email or call me if you need help.
